As a beginner I would seriously consider joining wealthy affiliate due to all the noise on the internet about affiliate marketing. You will find it is now massively overwhelming with the amount of people promoting their courses and leave you confused after you sign up.
There are lot of stories about Wealthy Affiliate some bad and some good. Now first off I can tell you I have been with WA (wealthy affiliate) since 2015. And my internet marketing business is going great and I'm doing really well thanks to wealthy affiliate.

Beginner Member Package
In this post "what is wealthy affiliate about" I will explain to you how you can benefit from WA and what you should know to get you off to a great start. Firstly you can get started for FREE when you first sign up. Wealthy affiliate has a free beginner sign up package.
The free package has got some great training and two free website domains that you can use to get you started. A great way to see if WA is for you or not? Like with everything sometimes it's not for everyone.
Seriously a great option for you to have a look without having to put in your card details. Not many places have this option for you. You get access to the big community too. 100's of 1000's of members willing to help you out all the way.
For the beginner members you get:

As you can see you get a-lot more for your money with the premium package. Packed full of great training. Now I'm going to be honest with you! Most of the video training are out dated but are still very relevant when it comes to ranking on Google
As I'm aware WA are going to revamp and update all of the videos. But the training is going to the same. The same training applies today to be able to help you get ranked in Google and generate free traffic (visits to your website).

I hope by now you have a bit more of an understanding what is wealthy affiliate about. Wealthy affiliate is a great place for you to get started when it comes to affiliate marketing there well be other options out there.
All I can say is that I have been a member of wealthy affiliate for over 5 years. And I have learned so much with the help of the great community and all of the training on offer. Kyle and Carson have done a great job putting this together.
Best thing for you to do is take advantage of the free training and have a look around. At the end of the day only you can decide for yourself if it is right for you or not. I like to put out my honest review on products and services if I think they are any good.
Wealthy Affiliate (Affiliate Program)
Yes wealthy affiliate has it's own affiliate program. Based on a recurring commissions you could earn a decent monthly income just referring people to wealthy affiliate. this is another one of wealthy affiliates benefits.
Also you have the option of signing up with other affiliate programs. Recommended by wealthy affiliate and some of them are through click-bank affiliate marketplace. Once you have gone through all of the training you will be on your way to do the same.
More benefits to joining WA is the site support if you need any help at all. They respond quite quick and help you out with any problems you may have. Key is to get you started and on your way with Wealthy Affiliate
Conclusion
Overhaul I think wealthy affiliate is a brilliant community to join and sign up with. Loads of great training and full of knowledgeable members on all levels. Great place to start as a beginner, intermediate or advanced with really good training.
Only thing I have to comment on is a lot of the videos within the training could do with been updated. That is now been overlooked with the developers and all should be getting revamped soon.
